Renee was very clear about the role of the artwork in her proposal. Out of a desire for it to be as good as it could be, she waited until a period of time during which I felt confident that the beach would be in prime condition for us.
Renee also chose to have only the word 'Believe' in the image, making her proposal verbally from the ground once her sweetheart had ascended to the overlook. They are a lesbian couple and the word was one that had deep meaning in their relationship.
By popular demand, and the couple's blessing, this image has become a print and has gone on to offer support and inspiration to many others.
