Randomly, a crew from a local news station was there to do a short segment on the weather.It turned into a segment on us and an interview with the couple- fun! The segments can be seen here and here and are very cute.
This timelapse shows Ryan and Katie walking up and talking with me while I was working. To create suspense and add a red herring, I said I was doing the artwork as a surprise for someone. I suggested they go above to check it out. As they walked the trail to the overlook, I wrote the words, and when they got into position and could see, I wrote in her name. Such a great reaction.
